SSI React Right First Aid course in Águilas
The SSI React Right course teaches you to react safely to an emergency, both in and out of the water: assessing the situation, calling emergency services, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and using an automated external defibrillator (AED).
It's a short but very hands-on course: it combines brief theory with guided, step-by-step practice on a mannequin, so you leave with real confidence, not just memorised theory.
Besides being useful knowledge for anyone, beyond diving, it's a requirement to enrol in the Rescue Diver course (recommended validity of 2 years) and a good foundation if you later want to move on to Divemaster.

Do I need to know how to dive to take this course?
No. React Right is a general first aid course, not diving-specific, although it's highly recommended for any diver.
How long does the certification last?
SSI recommends renewing it every 2 years, especially if you use it as a requirement for the Rescue Diver course.
