El Jardín

This is a very simple dive, with little current, usually mild when present. We usually do it as a drift dive. The best depth is 15-18 metres, where you can enjoy the best this dive has to offer: the rockfalls created at Cabo Cope. You'll find groupers, white seabream, common dentex, octopuses, spider crabs, moray eels, conger eels and plenty of nudibranchs, as well as sea hares, damselfish, rainbow wrasse and painted combers.

The wall of “El Jardín” is a pleasant dive thanks to its variety of colours and its ease. It sits right before the “Cueva del Mármol” area. It's usually done with a westerly current, which makes it more beautiful in that direction. The descent reaches a platform at 8 metres, from where you head towards two huge oval-shaped rocks that start at 10 metres and end just 1 metre below the surface. It's very common to see large groups of meagre and plenty of octopuses making the most of the natural shelter on offer here.
